GRENADES FOUND IN VACANT APARTMENT, ACCIDENTS ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY
A three vehicle accident yesterday afternoon at Highway 133 and County Road p-30 is on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for February 10th through this morning. Two people were transported to the hospital.
With the subzero temperatures, a diesel fueled pickup stalled in the roadway when the diesel gelled up.
Additionally on that report from Sheriff Mike Robinson, someone in Fort Calhoun was cleaning out a vacant apartment and found two hand grenades. Testing found the weapons to be safe.
The incident reported earlier this week regarding a high speed chase that started in O’Neill and ended in Blair next to the sheriff’s office is included in that summary for the week.
