SUSPENDED DRIVERS, BRUSH FIRES AND DEER COLLISIONS ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY FOR THE WE

A 59 year old woman was arrested by Washington County Deputies early Friday morning at Highway 75 and County Road 40 for Driving Under Suspension. Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report for November 10th through this morning, a 37 year old male was arrested at Highway 30 and County Road p-11 for his second drunk driving incident. A woman was arrested in Fort Calhoun after a traffic stop found that she was driving under suspension. A brush fire in the ten thousand block of County Road 20 was handled by Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue.

Additionally many deer-vehicle collisions are noted by not only Washington County Sheriff’s Office, but several law enforcement agencies in the region – this can be attributed to deer startled by harvesting operations and rutting season.
