SPEEDERS, FIREWORKS DAMAGE ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT
A theft reported yesterday afternoon near the 4900 block of County Road 40...also on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for Friday through this morning, a number of incidents of people driving around barricades into closed roadways, many leading to flooded areas. Those involved were advised to leave and understand the consequences of driving around those barriers.
Arrests include a 22 year old male on Highway 75 for speeding and driving under suspension, a 55 year old male arrested in the 20 thousand block of Highway 30 for drunk driving, another 22 year old male arrested at Highway 75 and Miller Ranch lane for Driving under suspension.
A speeding motorcyclist evaded Washington County deputies but was caught by Blair Police- a 35 year old male was arrested in that matter for flight to avoid arrest and willful reckless driving.
In another situation in which both law enforcement agencies worked together, One person in Blair was arrested for DUI, one for obstruction and three were cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and their vehicle was towed.
Additionally several incidents of criminal mischief in the county with someone damaging mailboxes by using fireworks.
