Long time Blair High School teacher Robert Bair passed away recently of cancer, we will convey details of his memorial service once they are made available.


67 year old James Gutschow of Parkville, Missouri, formerly of Blair, died June 17th. He was a 1975 Graduate of Blair High School. Visitation is Tuesday, 5-8pm, the Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday, 10am both at Saint Francis Borgia Catholic Church


98 year old Ruby Christiansen Chapman of Blair passed away June 14th. She is survived by her daughter Susan Hollis and son Jeff Chapman and their families. Visitation is Monday, June 24th from 5 to 7pm at Campbell Aman. The Funeral is Tuesday, June 25th at 1pm at First Baptist Church of Blair.


95 year old Charles Miller of Blair died May 30th. A celebration of life is Saturday, July 6th, 1pm at the Lakeland Community Building.

67 year old Christine Kephart Toombs of Missouri Valley, formerly of Council Bluffs, passed away June 15th. She is survived by her daughters Sally Thomas and Cori Sales, father of her daughters, Kenny Sales, siblings Glenda Kephart, Kathy Messersmith, David Kephart and their families. A celebration of life will follow at a later date.

39 year old Rebecca Townsend of Tekamah, formerly of Blair, passed away June 11th. She is survived by her children, Odin and Avah, parents Art and Udith Johnson, brothers Garrett and Kenneth Robinson, and other family members. The Celebration of Life is tomorrow 10am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah.


60 year old Mark Schroeder of Tekamah passed away June 14th. A memorial service is Friday, July 5th at 9am at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tekamah.

62 year old Dean Malone of Pisgah passed away June 4th. The Celebration of Life is tomorrow at noon at the Four County Fair Building in Dunlap
