DRUGS, ROAD RAGE AND SCAM ON HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY

A road rage incident with one vehicle striking the other is on the Harrison County Sheriff’s activity summary for November 6th through the 15th. In that matter on Northbound Highway 191, one vehicle stopped in Persia, the other continued northward and was not located. Additionally it was discovered the incident occurred in Pottawattamie County.

Also on Sheriff Brandon Doiel’s report, a traffic stop on Highway 30 near 194th street found the driver did not have a valid drivers license and the registration was expired, as well as illegal drugs in the vehicle. A Dunlap woman was arrested in that incident and charged with driving while barred and two counts of possession of controlled substance violations.

Among the many other matters on that summary, a deputy was contacted by a Persia resident, saying they had received a call from someone purporting to be from Harrison County and they were attempting to serve a civil service document. The investigation determined the matter was a scam and the resident did not provide personal information to the caller.
