SCAMS, WARRANTS ON HARRISON CO. SHERIFF SUMMARY
A driver not maintaining the speed limit on Highway 30 near Quincy Trail was eventually pulled over by Harrison County, Iowa Deputies- a Woodbine woman was arrested for drunk driving and Child endangerment violations.
Another traffic stop on I-29 found that a passenger in that vehicle had a warrant for their arrest, as a result, a Kansas City, Missouri woman was taken into custody.
A Logan resident called the Harrison Count Sheriffs Office regarding a scam in which the intended victim received a threatening email, demanding payment through bitcoin. That resident was advised to block the sender. The same day, a resident in Mondamin received a similar scam attempt, and they too were advised to block the sender.
