HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY INCLUDES PURSUIT, WEAPONS VIOLATIONS
A Logan, Iowa man walked away from a rollover accident on Laredo Avenue. When Harrison County, Iowa deputies found him, he was arrested and jailed for Weapons violations.
Also on the Activity Summary from Sheriff Brandon Doiel, a traffic stop on Highway 30 for an unreadable registration plate ends in the arrest of a Council Bluffs woman for probation violation and possession of controlled substances and drug equipment.
A caller to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office says a person came to their home on 128th trail asking to use the phone, despite having a cell phone in his hand. Officers found the man and a vehicle. That vehicle was reported stolen from Sioux City. He was arrested and taken to jail for motor vehicle theft and drug charges.
Among the many other incidents on that report, a Deputy received a report of a vehicle speeding and driving erratically on Highway 30 near Woodbine. A traffic stop was attempted, but the suspect vehicle did not stop and a pursuit began. After using stop sticks, the driver, a Denison, Iowa man, was arrested for eluding and possible intoxication.
