Harrison County Sheriff's Report

FIGHT IN DUNLAP, "SORE LOSER" HUNTER AND CAR-DEER COLLISIONS IN HARRISON COUNTY, IOWA


A fight at a business in Dunlap was broken up by Dunlap Police and Harrison County Deputies – that according to the Harrison County, Iowa, sheriff’s activity summary for November 15th through the 18th.

   

A semi tanker spilled fuel at a business on West Seventh in Logan, EMS responded to the scene as well.

   

Four car-deer collisions are reported in Harrison County – One at 194th and Pearl Lane, another on 194th and Toledo Avenue, the third at Overton and Pierce Avenues, and the fourth car-deer collision was the next day at the same location.

  

Among the many other incidents on Sheriff Brandon Doiel’s report, a deputy responded to a harassment complaint on Harvard trail in which the driver of a vehicle would drive by a residence and honk the horn...it has been an on-going issue from a previous situation where the driver could hunt on the property. That driver was warned to cease the ongoing harassment.
