ACCIDENTS, FIRE ON HARRISON CO. SHERIFFS SUMMARY
A few accidents are on the most recent Harrison County, Iowa Sheriff’s Activity Summary. A single vehicle accident on Interstate 29 was looked into by deputies who detected alcohol on the driver’s breath, a field sobriety test was administered and as a result, the driver, an Omaha man was arrested for drunk driving. A hit and run accident causing damage to a parked vehicle in Logan was reported and is under investigation.
A Harrison County resident was burning cardboard and the fire spread unexpectedly, damaging a neighbor’s landscaping and siding. Deputies responded and provided traffic control for the fire department as they put out the blaze.
Those are just a few of the incidents on Sheriff Brandon Doiel’s report.
