The Missouri Valley Tree Lighting is Friday, December 6th, 6pm at Crossroad Place. Santa will visit, there will be Christmas carols, treat bags, cookies and Hot cider and hot Cocoa. That event is organized by the Mo Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Habitat for Humanity and Blair’s Memorial Community Hospital are hosting a lunch and learn for those wanting to find out about home ownership for those families that make between fifteen and 29 dollars per hour – homes in West Valley in Blair. The free lunch and learn is Thursday, December 5th from noon til 1pm at the Sievers Conference Room. You can register by calling Coartney at 402-426-1464.
The Joseph’s Coat’s annual Christmas for the Coat Drive Thru Breakfast is Wednesday, December 11th from 6:30 am til 9am, behind Joseph’s Coat at 17th and Lincoln. it’s a benefit for the Washington County Food Pantry
The Bridge from Violence, dedicated to helping those dealing with domestic violence is having an online silent auction starting November 27th through December 8th...The fundraiser “Festival of Hope” features items and experiences donated by supporters.
