HERE’S WHATS HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

Free colon cancer screening kits are available at the Three Rivers Public Health Department in Fremont in a Drive through event tomorrow, – from noon til 1 and again from 4:30 til 5:30 – at 2400 North Lincoln Avenue in Fremont.

A community wide meeting for Harrison County, Iowa is March 31st, 6pm at Logan-Magnolia High School – to discuss a recent survey on area childcare growth and Development, and a committee’s plan to address concerns.

The Wednesday Night Community Dinner at Blair’s First United Methodist Church is this evening starting at 5 and running to 6:30, followed by a Lenten Service at 7. The menu includes Pork Carnitas, rice, corn and desserts – a free will donation will be accepted with proceeds going to Camp Fontenelle.

A recent house fire in Mondamin is impacting one of it’s residents, a 79 year old veteran named John Bell. A go fund me account has been established to help Mr. Bell out. You can find out more online at gofundme.com or at the Harrison County Emergency Management Agency Facebook page.
