The Washington County Recycling Association is in need of volunteers this coming Saturday. There is heat in the building. Call 402-533-2557 if you can help as an individual or can provide group help for Saturday morning’s recycling event.
Chili, Cinnamon Rolls and Basketball are in store for those hading to the Fort Calhoun – Arlington Basketball game on February 4th. It’s a fundraiser for Post Prom from 5 to 8pm, adults are ten dollars, students, five.
Applications for the Tekamah Chamber of Commerce Scholarship are now being accepted. The 500 dollar scholarship will be awarded based on small town pride and commitment to the growth of Tekamah. Details available by emailing nnuss@thtigers.org
Adult Laser Tag is coming up February 1st from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Blair Public Library. This is for those aged 18 and up, no registration is required
A Red Cross Blood Drive is January 27th – that’s this coming Monday, at the Tekamah-Herman School from 8am to 2pm. You can schedule online at redcross.org or by calling the school - 402-374-2156
