A clothing drive to benefit the Open Door Mission is this Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Missouri Valley High School. Donations of gently used or new clothing are sought.
The Burt County Museum’s Fantasy of Trees is underway now through January 4th during regular hours – one to five pm. Donations are welcome. Call 402-374- 1505 for more details
Many homes in the Three Rivers Public Health Department district of Saunders, Washington and Dodge Counties contain Radon Gas. Free Radon tests are available at the Three Rivers Fremont and Blair offices. More information can be found online at Three Rivers Public Health.org.
“Big Questions and Innovative Solutions in Land Management” - a free workshop for farm and land owners and tenants for managing or leasing land is January 9th, 1-4pm at the Nebraska Extension in Washington County – 597 Grant Street, suite 200. Refreshments will be provided by Farmers National Company. Though the event is free, registration is required – call the Nebraska Extension in Washington County – at 402-426-9455 (repeat) the deadline to register is January 8th.
