HERE’S WHATS HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

The Pioneer’s for Education Spring Carnival is Friday, April 25th at the Fort Calhoun High School from 5 to 8pm. Wristbands are 12 dollars in advance, 15 at the door.

The Washington County Disaster Preparedness Fair, put on by the Washington County Long Term Recovery Team is April 26th from ten til 2 at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Child Identification program, Lutheran Family Service, Three Rivers Public Health and the Red Cross are just a few of the agencies that will participate. The public is encouraged to attend.

Rock the Block in Fort Calhoun is Saturday, April 26 from 8am to 1pm. Hosted by Habitat for Humanity, the community driven initiative is coming together to help not only enhance curb appeal but to foster a sense of community. Meet at Cherry Hill in Fort Calhoun, breakfast and lunch will be provided. To participate, contact Ken Mar at 402-616-6753

First Lutheran Church, instrumental in rendering aid to those impacted by last spring’s tornados in Washington County, is sponsoring a Celebration of Helping others on Saturday, April 26th at 1pm. Everyone is welcome
