HERE’S WHATS HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

Local author Tim Welch will be signing books and reading at the Blair Public Library Thursday, April 10th at 7pm. His book “Scream in the Dark” is featured.

A lunch and learn April 10th at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital will feature the Nebraska Homestead Exemption Program. The event is free, but you do need to register by calling 402-426-1464

This month’s Missouri River Area Women’s Connection is Tuesday, April 15th in Missouri Valley at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church at 6:30. Guest Speaker Rae Staab will tell why she’s “Not a Storm Chaser” and Rick Powell will sing. For reservations and ticket information call 402-426-7068.

Autumn Point Assisted Living in Fort Calhoun is having an Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 19th at 10:30 at 501 North 13th street, an Easter Egg hunt, refreshments and more are featured, the public is invited to participate.

A Lunch and Learn Tuesday, April 22nd is “All About Bees” with Melanie Kaeding at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce Office. It runs from noon til 1pm and is free, but you must register beforehand – by email at Events@WashingtonCountyChamberNE.com or by calling 402-533-4455
