Church Calendar: April 9, 2025

Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:

A Palm Sunday Pancake breakfast is this Sunday, April 12th from 7:30 to 12:30 at the Blair Masonic Lodge

The Loess Hills Choir is presenting an Easter Cantata, upcoming performances are Saturday, April 12th at 5pm at the Center, 116 North Fourth Street in Missouri Valley and Sunday, April 13th, 3pm at the Ecumenical Church Service at St. Paul Lutheran in Missouri Valley

Camp Fontanelle Spring Service Days are April 12th and 26th starting at 9am. A variety of tasks need attention. Please bring work gloves and tools.

The Harrison County Food Pantry is having it’s Easter Program April 16th from 10 til 2 at Christ Church in Missouri Valley. Each registered family will receive the makings for an Easter Dinner. If you would like to participate, you must register by this coming Thursday, April 10th, by calling 712-642-2598

The Blair Optimist Club’s Easter Egg Hunt is this Saturday, registration starts at 12:30, at South School, 1616 Butler Street. This is for kids through 5th grade, even though the signs say 4th according to the Optimist Club

The Herman Community Club’s Easter Egg Hunt is this Saturday starting at 3pm at the Herman Park. Four age divisions, a free will donation for entry

Autumn Point’s Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday morning April 19th starting at 10:30 at 501 North 13th street, for those aged 12 and under, refreshments will be served.

Rosie’s Rehabilitation and Sanctuary is having an Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday, 10am til noon, a five dollar donation will benefit the animal sanctuary at 2923 County Road 33 in Blair.

Some of the regular meetings in our area include:

Midweek Meal at First Lutheran is from 5:30 to 6:15, a free will donation is appreciated.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study, 6:30 at First Baptist Church of Blair

Retro Blair Community group for those over 50 is meeting this Friday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 at Reach Church

The Christian Motorcyclist Association is meeting this Saturday at Pizza Ranch at 84th and Center in Omaha at 4pm
