BLAIR CLEANUP BEGINS - AVOID OPEN BURN TODAY
Open burns – with a permit – are USUALLY allowed during Blair’s traditional spring clean up – which starts today.
We do have a red flag fire warning in progress from the National Weather Service, so conducting outdoor burns are strongly discouraged. You should contact the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue department at any time before beginning to burn – even if you already have a permit.
Blair’s city wide Clean up continues tomorrow through April 18th but stops Sunday due to the Easter Holiday, resuming Monday through Friday between 10 AM and 5 PM. Weekend hours ten til five.
No paint, chemicals or tires will be permitted at the Public Works Yard. Separate collections of those items will be held at a later date by other agencies.
