BIG M.I.P. PARTY, ERRANT BOAT ON HARRISON COUNTY, IOWA SHERIFF'S ACTIVITY SUMMARY
A disabled boat on the river, occupied by several people was floating downriver when Harrison County deputies were contacted, another boat, however, was able to tow the craft to a ramp without incident.
Other matters on the Harrison County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for June 20th through the 24th – a two vehicle accident on East Sixth Street in Logan, this after one of the drivers was seen shoplifting a bottle of alcohol, as a result, that driver, a rural Logan man was arrested for theft and drunk driving.
Two other incidents involving drunk driving are also on that report.
Two deputies, along with the Iowa State Patrol and Woodbine police responded to a large Minor in Possession party on Easton Trail. Multiple minors and those aged 18 to 20 were cited.
Among the other incidents on Sheriff Brandon Doiel’s report, a traffic stop of a vehicle being driven erratically on I-29 at Missouri Valley ends in the arrest of a Sioux Falls, South Dakota man on drug related charges.
