Water Levels Changing on the Missouri River
For the first time since March, the Missouri River at Blair is below flood stage. The Army Corps of Engineers began lowering the output from the Gavins Point Dam upstream last week, the water flow should reflect the lesser amount of water by the end of the week at the latest.
The Missouri River measures 19 point 44 feet in Blair on December 11th, down from just under 23 feet a week ago. That level is expected to decline further.
